Choosing a Used Four Wheeler - Pracitcal Tips
So we all know that atv 4 wheelers can be lot of fun and most of us know that buying a machine, let alone the four wheeler of our dreams, is pretty costly. Add in the gear and the price of gas, transport and the cost of four wheel fun can be prohibitive for many.
One problem we have as Americans is our focus on buying new. Sure new is nice but a new four wheeler depreciates rapidly and it is heartbreaking watching the chips and scratches appear as our kit gets covered in dirt, sand and mud.
Much better then to consider picking up used four wheelers for sale then. Now even though I am an advocate of buying online to save big bucks I’d never recommend that you consider purchasing a used four wheeler this way unless you have done your homework.
You can save a lot of money online but boy can you get burnt if you don’t know what you’re looking for and what questions to ask. So always have a talk to fellow quad lovers and sound out there opinions on the various makes and models.
Once you’ve decided on a couple of atvs you like do some online research. Check out old reviews. Browse ATV forums and try to identify known problems with that particularly machine. Put together a list of questions you can ask an online seller to satisfy yourself that it is a good used 4 wheeler and get the questions answered in writing.
Genuine sellers will be happy to do this as they have nothing to hide. If you can prepare yourself properly, find a seller that conducts himself properly, has good feedback (if using eBay) then you can be confident that any used atvs for sale you identify and purchase online will not only give you the lowest price but a great used four wheeler to boot.
